Millennium Institute (MI) is a non-profit organisation in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Security Council of The United Nations. Millennium Institute strives to realize its vision by enabling decision makers to use system dynamics thinking and tools to analyse and understand the interconnectedness between economic, social, environmental factors, and issues of peace and security. This will increase their capacity to implement sustainable policies. MI seeks to play a catalytic role in creating a global network of system thinkers to solve critical 21st century challenges. In Partnering with MI, Institute for Capacity Building is providing Short courses in Integrated Planning Tools (IPT) mainly focusing on the

  1. Threshold 21 Model (T21)
  2. M3 Model
  3. Multi Entity Gaming Model

Expertise in these IPT have been used in economic planning especially on modelling and scenario analysis. Such models are used to produce Poverty reduction strategies; Climate change mitigation; and other development strategies. The core training areas of ICD-MI partnership are:
